FASHION FOR HOPE Q&A

1. Why are we doing this event?

Few weeks ago Seda Balci and Murtaza Hussain watched the HBO Documentary ‘Marathon Boy’ and the story blew their minds. After watching the documentary they reached out to the production company, One Horse Town Production, and talked to the director of the documentary Gemma Atwal. Seda and Murtaza have already donated a good amount to the orphanage that mentioned in the documentary but now they are planning to do more to benefit those kids out there.
That is why Seda Balci got together with Wen Guo and put this event together.

2. Why fashion show?

Wen Guo has amazing designs and she just completed her new Boditecture collection. She was planning to do a public event for her new collection but after Seda reached out to her and told her about the Marathon Boy Documentary she got very impressed and since she is also very into helping charities, she wanted to get involved with her line in this charity event. %50 of the ticket sales will be donated to the orphanage trust fund.

We are expecting a high attendance & hopefully we will be able to help more to those kids in the orphanage.

3. What is the date and timing of the event?

The event will take place at Temple San Francisco Night Club on February 4th 2012 Saturday between 7pm and 10pm. The tickets are on Eventbrite: http://fashionforhope.eventbrite.com/

Our guest will be able to watch the trailer of the Marathon boy Movie and many other information will be given to the guests in the event. And Wen Guo will have a fashion show with her amazing models and designs and guests will be able to see the designs before everyone.

4. How can we learn more about Marathon Boy Documentary and the trust funds?

Please check out the website http://www.marathonboymovie.com/ and you will be able to learn everything about the production company, and the trust funds. You can also get in touch with the team for the extra donations.

5. Are there any other companies that are helping you to promote this event?

Yes. We reached out to some companies and told about what we are planning to do. Many companies and brands got so impressed by the story and they are sharing the event with their network to support. We would like to thank Gemma Atwal and her team One Horse Town Production, Murtaza Hussain, Wedfairy.com, 3rd I Films, Clazaro, Peanut Labs, and everyone who helped for this great cause.
